Summary: Oversee and coordinate all branch accounting processing and procedures


Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Any one position may not include all of the listed duties, nor do all of the listed examples include all tasks which may be found in positions within this classification.


  • Maintains all accounting branch records, files and in-house cash.
  • Reviews all branch expense accounts and provides explanation for variances.
  • Confirms vendor invoices for all five branches.
  • Interacts daily with customers and vendors.
  • Reviews and reconciles all balance sheet accounts.
  • Performs bank reconciliations.
  • Leads financial reporting and budget preparation.
  • Performs month-end close tasks and books related month-end journal entries.
  • Communicates financial findings to Management.
  • Takes initiative to understand, apply and improve existing processes and procedures.
  • Maintain a strong, personal commitment to the safety culture.
  • All other as duties assigned.

  • BA in Accounting or related degree is required, prefer candidates with a MBA in Accounting.
  • A minimum of three years of progressive experience in accounting is required.
  • Certified Public Account (CPA) is plus.
  • Experience in sales/service environment is preferred.
  • Experience with financial statement preparation, budgeting, payroll, purchasing, accounts payable, and accounts receivable, or the equivalent, as well as experience working with an automated financial management system.

  • Ability to lift up to 25lbs.
  • Ability to sit for long periods of time.
  • Work in air conditioned office, outside and workshop.
  • Will be required on occasion to work more than 8 hours on one shift.

  • Reaching or handling with arms, hands and fingers.
  • Manual dexterity sufficient to work with fingers (i.e. frequent typing)
  • Normal vision with or without corrective lenses.
